Overview

The step drill bit is an accessory and spare part for the undercover jig set for making concealed fastenings in wood. The tip of the drill bit pre-drills a small guide hole for the screw thread, while the second step of the bit countersinks a bigger hole into the wood for the screw head. The depth stop included in the scope of delivery gives you perfect control over the drilling depth.
